Ulla Linjama-Lehtinen and Eero Lehtinen have been making music together for over twenty years. It all began when Ulla was looking for a guitarist to perform with. She found a guitarist and, at the same time, love.
Over the years, the couple has performed at many different venues, from Finlandia Hall to retirement homes. Their repertoire includes a variety of musical styles, from Argentine tangos to Finnish songs.
The duo has been widely praised for their soulful performances and their ability to touch their audience. Ulla Linjama-Lehtinen says that singing on stage has always been close to her heart.
“Interpretation and connection with the audience are the most important things in music. In singing, you must be able to hear the first cry and kiss of humanity, as flamenco singers often say. I come from a family of church musicians and firmly believe in the healing power of music. The voice touches, and words can sum up vast worlds. Music brings joy and eases sorrow.”
